Paris is always a good idea no doubt, but Art Paris is the place to be in Paris in spring. Here is our guide for Art Paris 2019 where to eat and what to see during the art fair.
The 21st edition of the fair will bring together 150 modern and contemporary art galleries under the roof of the Grand Palais from 4th-7th April. This year the fair will focus on women artists and Latin America.

Donald Judd Exhibition in Marais
Galerie Thaddeus Repas is bringing works of Donald Judd to Marais from 6 April. It is his first solo exhibition in France in 20 years. It’s curated by hi son Flavin Judd, director of the Judd Foundation.
 
This exhibition will be accompanied by a specially designed publication featuring an essay by renowned art historian Catherine Millet, a text by Flavin Judd, and the artist’s seminal essay ‘Some Aspects of Colours in General and Red and Black in Particular’.
Spanning the years 1963–1991, the exhibition brings together key works from various stages of the artist’s oeuvre with a focus on freestanding floor pieces. Highlights include a series of aluminium wall-mounted works from 1991, a monumental ‘progression’ work of over six meters long, and a selection of works on paper and woodcuts.

Atelier des lumière- Van gogh exhibition
Atelier Des Lumiere is a digital art museum, definitely worth a visit. Their current exhibition “Van Gogh, Starry Night” a genius who was not recognized during his lifetime and who transformed painting.
 
The Atelier des Lumières highlights the Dutch painter’s expressive and powerful brushstrokes and is illuminated by the bold colours of his unique paintings.
 
 
Fondation Louis Vuitton
If you admire modern art and architecture, Foundation Louis Vuitton is a must place to visit during the fair. The museum is designed by Frank Gehry, it is the coolest in town.
 
It is located in the middle of Bois de Boulogne. Don't miss their current exhibition “THE COURTAULD COLLECTION. A VISION FOR IMPRESSIONISM”. The exhibition presents the collection of the British entrepreneur and art patron Samuel Courtauld, which hasn't been showed in Paris for the past 60 years. 
 
Here is the some of the artist that is in the Courtauld Collection: Modigliani Amedeo, Eugène Boudin, Paul Cézanne, Constantin Guys, Georges Seurat, Joseph Mallord William Turner, Edouard Manet, Henri Matisse, Claude Monet, Paul Nash, Pablo Picasso, Alfred Sisley, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.
 
 
Le Mini Palais
This restaurant is inside the Grand Palais, soaring outdoor terrace with the views of the Petit Palais and Pont Alexandre III. Along side its location its also known as it’s decent prices, considering the neighborhood.
Insider tip: Book in advance to enjoy their famous burger de magret et foie gras.
